Brass Monkey is Manitoba's premier indoor rock climbing competition. Competitors from all across Canada visit Vertical Adventures to compete in a highly anticipated bouldering comp for a chance to take home the brass monkey championship belt! Brass Monkey was first started back in 2002, originally created as a way for the gym to bring in some cash to buy holds, it has become so much more to our community. Every year competitors hash it out to be named the Brass Monkey champion! It's a way to remember our origins, celebrate our community, and to push our limits. This competition is open to beginner and youth, as well as more experienced climbers! The categories are youth (ages 9 - 16), recreation, and open, with a scramble format. Early bird registration (prior to and including April 7th) will receive a comp shirt!
