Homeschool Climbing Program: Ages 6 - 12

Service Description

This program is for homeschool students ages 6 to 12, all skill/experience levels are welcome! Participants will be introduced to both bouldering and top-rope climbing, how to put on a harness correctly, and learning beginner climber movements. Our emphasis will be on managing risk safely and having fun! Please note: This program will run on the first Monday of each month, starting October 2nd, 2023 (one exception for January, the 2nd Monday). You can sign up for each session individually, as works best for your family's schedule. Each session will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. If this is your child's first time coming to VA, please fill out a waiver (see the 'about' tab above) prior to their climbing session. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear clothes that allow for lots of movement! The registration fee includes climbing shoes and harness, but your child can also climb in clean runners if they prefer. Registration Fee: $25 plus tax
